My mother was an inspirational soul. She was larger than life. She had a heart of gold and her love was unwavering. She was elegant, funny, kind, loving, humble,compassionate, understanding and very approachable. 
She was my world and my strength. Mummy I am grateful and proud to have you as my mother. I do not know how I will do life without you but I will find that inner strength you have instilled in me and hold your memory in my heart. I will forever cherish the memories we shared together. 
You fought tirelessly for us to have the best life possible. You gave your time to everyone that needed it and your home was always open to all. Your hospitality made everyone feel important. 
You were strong and very determined and never let anything get in your way. Always had a positive attitude to life despite all the obstacles you faced. You stood tall against all odds. Your faith in God was as solid as a rock. This reflected in all aspects of your life. On dark days, your strength and smile made me realise I had an angel beside me. Many years ago when I had immigration issues and was detained and threatened with deportation. I had given up but you never gave up. You fought tirelessly to get me released from detention and told me to believe that this was God's way of resolving my immigration status. And so it came to pass. You always stood behind me despite my short comings. Always believed in me and encouraged me to fight for the things I believed in. Thank you mummy for your love and dedication 
I will forever miss you. 
Your grand children will never forget the times they spent with you and all the fun they had. Memories they will cherish for ever. You loved them with every ounce of your being. They loved you very much and will miss you dearly. 
Your sacrifices were immense and you touched so many lives by your wisdom, selflessness and generosity. Always with a smile on your face. 
We celebrate your life mummy knowing that you are at peace and in the hands of the lord. Rest in peace mummy, you ran a good race. Your life is a testimony for all. Your gentle and generous soul will never be forgotten.
